Siliguri, 06th October: Voluntary organization Students Society of Siliguri, on Wednesday, handed over new clothes to needy children near Rajadanga High School in the Kranti Block area.
It has been learned that members of the Student Society of Siliguri handed over clothes to 150 people. Padma Shri Karimul Haque was present as the chief guest in the programme.
Karimul Haque highly appreciated the initiative taken and said that the members of the Students Society of Siliguri did not buy any own clothes for themselves, but instead distributed clothes to the children of helpless poor families in the village.
