Siliguri, 15th February: Students of Siliguri Government Polytechnic College staged a protest demanding online examinations, on Tuesday.
The students of Siliguri Government Polytechnic College said that in other polytechnic colleges, 80 percent syllabus has been completed. However, in their college, not even 40 percent syllabus has been completed. They have been informed of taking the test only after two days of offline class.
Students said that they have taken classes online due to the pandemic. So they must take exams online. Talking to the college authorities about this, the authorities informed that the board has announced that exams will be conducted offline. Following this, students staged a protest today.
