Siliguri, 14th August: Tomorrow marks the 74th Independence Day of India. To avoid any untoward incidents, strict surveillance is being kept by the police across the city.
Reportedly, motorcycle patrolling is being carried out by the Siliguri Metropolitan police on Friday, which commenced from Siliguri’s Payel Cinema Hall area. Campaigns are likely to be launched in various parts of the city.
