Strict action to be taken against Toto drivers if examinees face any problem: Gaurav Sharma

Siliguri, 13th March: Several decisions have been taken recently by the Metropolitan Police to make the city free of traffic congestion. After paddle rickshaws and e-rickshaws have been banned from plying on the main roads of Siliguri, toto drivers are continuously protesting. As a result, the Madhyamik examinees are facing a lot of problems in their commute.


Today on this issue, Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma said that strict action will be taken against Toto drivers if Madhyamik and Uccha Madhyamik examinees face any problem. He said that law and order will not be allowed to deteriorate at any cost and that if anyone faces any kind of inconvenience, they should take it before the police administration, mayor, and Darjeeling DM.
