Siliguri, 2nd January: The Trinamool leader and State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived in Siliguri, today, to participate in the protest rally, which will be staged tomorrow, against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).
The rally will commence from Mallaguri at around 12 pm and conclude at the Baghajatin Park.
It was reported that a large number of people from the hills will participate in the rally. Besides, TMC activists from every block of Siliguri will participate in the rally as well.
Reportedly, the Chief Minister will return to Kolkata, tomorrow.
