Naxalbari, 13th March: Allegations have surfaced against SSB jawans for thrashing a man who was delivering a cow as a wedding gift. The incident transpired from Dayaram Jote of Naxalbari. At the same time, a counter-complaint has been made by SSB.
Reportedly, the injured has been identified as Mohammad Anna. It is alleged that while delivering the cow given as a wedding gift, the SSB jawans stopped the said person and thrashed him severely. After the incident, the family members of the injured person lodged a complaint at the Naxalbari police station.
However, on the other hand, SSB alleged that after receiving a tip-off, SSB launched an operation, during which they were attacked. Along with this, stones were also pelted at the soldiers. Many jawans were injured in the said incident. However, SSB has rescued 9 cattle from the spot. Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged by SSB at the Naxalbari police station. Police are investigating the entire incident.
