Naxalbari, 31st January: A youth has been arrested along with cattle before smuggling at the Indo-Nepal border in Naxalbari. The arrested youth has been identified as Mohammad Nazrul.
Reportedly, the 8th battalion of SSB caught the youth with cattle from the Bada Maniram Jote area of Naxalbari. According to SSB sources, the youth was caught while coming to India from Nepal. Upon asking him to show valid documents related to the cattle, he failed to do so. After this, he was arrested and handed over to the Naxalbari police.
The accused has been produced in Siliguri court today. The police of Naxalbari police station have started investigating the incident.
