Siliguri, 06th February: Sensation ensued after a bike rider sustained serious injuries in a road accident in front of the petrol pump at Bhavesh More, adjacent to Siliguri.
Reportedly, a four-wheeler was stopped at the signal in front of the petrol pump on Monday afternoon when a speeding bike crashed into it from behind. The crash injured the rider seriously and the four-wheeler was damaged in the incident.
However, the injured was rescued and taken to the hospital. As soon as the news was received, the NJP police reached the spot and seized the four-wheeler and bike. Police have started investigating the entire incident.
