Siliguri, 10th November: The Special Operation Group (SOG) raided a residence used in illegal drug trade and took two people into their custody. The arrested have been identified as Srijan Oraon and Ravindra Roy.
As per the SOG, the team along with the cops of Siliguri police station launched an operation in a house located in Fuleswari Bazar based on a tip-off last night. During this, the police recovered 170 grams of brown sugar from the house and two accused were arrested immediately. The market value of the seized drugs his said to be lakhs of rupees. Today both the accused were presented in the Siliguri court after registering a case under the NDPS Act.
