Social worker Madan Bhattacharya to help Shantipara’s Rimpa with her higher education

Siliguri, 11th August: Jugal Pal, a resident of Siliguri’s Shantipara, lives with his wife and two children. His daughter Rimpa Pal scored an impressive 672 marks out of 700 in her Madhyamik examinations.

Rimpa Pal wishes to study further but the family is living under severe financial crisis at the moment, especially due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown.

Upon learning their helpless situation, social worker Madan Bhattacharya extended his helping hand towards the family. He visited their house on Tuesday and provided financial assistance for Rimpa’s higher education. Besides, he also handed over study materials to her.

But this is not the first time Bhattacharya is helping a young scholar reach his/her dreams. Apparently, the social worker is already taking care of Rimpa’s elder brother Joy Pal’s studies ever since he passed the secondary school. Joy is currently a third-year student pursuing Chemistry Honors.

Meanwhile, Bhattacharya expressed happiness helping the meritorious student and further assured of taking all responsibilities for Rimpa’s education in the future.
