Siliguri, 10th May: Bapan Ghosh, a social activist and a resident of the Siliguri Aurobindo Pally, has been regularly helping the needy amid the COVID-19 lockdown. As per the report, Ghosh, with the assistance of Padma Shri Karimul Haque, distributed ration among several poor families on Sunday.
Apart from them, Social activist Madan Bhattacharya, Dipak Shil, Dhiman Bose, and many other dignitaries were present during the programme. Ghosh also handed over a cheque of 11 thousand rupees to Haque for the construction of his hospital.
In this context, Karimul Haque highly praised the selfless initiative taken by Ghosh and further urged everyone to help the needy during the lockdown period.
