Siliguri, 17th May: The nation-wide lockdown in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases has made a huge economical impact on the daily wagers and their families.
Intending to help them, social activist Sukanta Basu, on Sunday morning, distributed ration among 100 poor families in the Hakimpara Girish Ghosh Sarani area.
As per the information, Basu earlier distributed ration among several needy people in Nagrakata, Devidanga, Jabrivita, Basbari, and many other areas.
