Siliguri, 16th May: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, Bapan Ghosh, a resident of the Siliguri Aurobindopally area, on Saturday, distributed food items among 300 tea garden workers and needy children in the Saraswatipur Tea Garden premises. He adopted this initiative with the assistance of the Milanpally outpost police workers.
As per the information, Ghosh has been regularly feeding several needy people ever since the lockdown was imposed. Padma Shri Karimul Haque, Madan Bhattacharya, and many others highly praised the selfless initiative taken by him and also stepped forward to assist him in this regard.
