Siliguri, 08th February: State Opposition Leader Suvendu Adhikari arrived in Siliguri to campaign for the SMC elections.
He campaigned in several wards on Tuesday. At the beginning of the campaign, he visited Ward no-24 and was accompanied by MP Raju Bista and other MLAs. He appealed to the residents to bring BJP to power for the development of the city.
Adhikari said that the development of the city will be done using the money of the central government. Siliguri will be transformed into a model city by bringing it under the Smart City, Green City Mission of the Center.
He further said, “As it is important to remain in power, the ‘second floor’ has been given to MP Raju Bista and ‘first floor’ has been given to MLA Shankar Ghosh. He urged all to vote for the party and give them an opportunity to work for the development of SMC.”
