Siliguri, 01st July: In the ongoing operation to curb unauthorized constructions in the city, the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) authorities undertook a demolition drive at an unauthorized building in Ward No. 42 of Siliguri.
According to reports, the SMC received a complaint regarding the unauthorized construction in the said area. After issuing a notice to the owner to dismantle the structure, no compliance was observed. Consequently, the SMC deployed its workers to execute the demolition earlier on Monday.
