Siliguri, 27th August: The locals raised voices alleging that garbage from the safe house in Siliguri Indoor Stadium is being dumped outside the facility and is left lying out in the open for hours.
The local Coordinator and Siliguri Municipal Corporation administrative board member Sharadendu Chakraborty also raised his voice in this regard, on Wednesday.
Following this, SMC instructed Greengen Bio Pvt. Ltd. to collect the garbage from the safe house.
As per the orders, on Thursday, a vehicle of the Greengen Bio Pvt. Ltd. was spotted collecting the garbage from the facility. Reportedly, more such initiatives are likely to be taken in the coming days.
