Siliguri, 27th October: Jabravita underpass adjacent to Siliguri gets inundated even in light rains, due to which, common people have been facing extreme difficulties for a long time.
SJDA chairman Sourav Chakraborty inspected the Jabravita underpass and Chatth Ghat of Jorapani River, on Wednesday. He also held discussions regarding the permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging in the underpass.
Chakraborty said that the water accumulated in the underpass will be pumped out initially. Permanent arrangements will also be made to solve the problem.
