Siliguri, 29th October: SJDA chairman Sourav Chakraborty informed that repair work of Fulbari bypass road will commence soon.
For a long time, around 2 km road of the Fulbari bypass road has been lying in a dilapidated condition. As a result, accidents have become frequent. Despite reporting the matter to the administration several times, no necessary steps were taken.
This time SJDA chairman Sourav Chakraborty spoke of a permanent solution to the problem. He inspected the dilapidated road and said that repair work could not be initiated till now due to lockdown, rainfall, and some tender process errors. He assured that the road work will be completed soon.
