Siliguri, 22nd September: The Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA) Chairman Sourav Chakraborty distributed sports equipment to three Siliguri-based sportspersons named Seema Chakraborty, athlete, Sinjini Sarkar, cricketer, and table tennis player Debraj Bhattacharya.
According to reports, the three players have brought laurels for the district in their respective fields. However, financial constraints became a barrier in their career. Later, the matter was informed to the SJDA Chairman.
On Friday, keeping their inconveniences in mind, today Chairman distributed sports equipment to the three sportspersons at the office of the SJDA.
