Siliguri, 29th August: In view of the rising number of positive coronavirus cases across the city, the administration has decided to carry out COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test in various wards and markets of Siliguri.
Accordingly, the Rapid Tests were conducted in Ward No. 24 today. Several ward residents took the test today. Reports are also being revealed within a short time.
Ward councilor Shankar Ghosh and chairman of SMC’s BoA Ashok Bhattacharya were present today.
In this context, Ghosh stated that such initiatives have been taken to identify asymptomatic patients because they were more likely to spread the virus.
