Siliguri’s Bangla Paksho demanded the addition of Bengali language in the Post Office forms

Siliguri, 12th March: Bangla Paksho, a Siliguri based organization, has demanded that the forms in the Post offices be available in the Bengali language.


It has been reported that agitations have been staged by the organization for a long time demanding the recognition of the Bengali language. Bangla Paksho has now staged an agitation with this new demand. The organization has demanded that all the forms in the post office and post office bank be provided in the Bengali language.

Subhash Saha, a member of Bangla Paksho, stated that a few days ago, some people complained of facing difficulties filling up the post office forms as it was not available in the Bengali language. Therefore, a memorandum was handed over to the official of the West Bengal Post Office, today, demanding that the forms be provided in the Bengali language and also demanded the recognition of the Bengali language.
