Siliguri, 17th January: In recent developments in the Siliguri schoolgirl murder case, the bicycle on which the schoolgirl was last seen in the CCTV footage with accused MD Abbas, was presented as evidence before the court.
Reportedly, on Wednesday, the bicycle was presented as a piece of evidence before Judge Jitendra Gupta in Siliguri Second ADJ Court. In addition, the testimonies of four witnesses were recorded.
Earlier, on August 21 last year, the blood-soaked body of a schoolgirl was recovered from Siliguri’s Matigara area. During the investigation, the police arrested the accused MD Abbas from his residence on the night of the incident. In addition, the bicycle on which the accused was last seen, on CCTV footage, with the deceased minor was seized.
