Siliguri, 24th November: The ‘Siliguri Premiere League 2023’ is scheduled to be organized, under the initiative of Siliguri Mahakuma Krira Parishad, at Kanchenjunga Stadium from November 26. On Friday, Sourav Bhattacharya, Football Secretary of the Siliguri Mahakuma Krira Parishad revealed the details through a press conference.
Speaking to the media, Sourav Bhattacharya stated that a total of ten teams will participate in the league comprising 45 matches. He added that the last two years the league was suspended due to the pandemic, however, this year the league will be held as previously and the champions and runners-up will be judged based on points.
Additionally, at the end of every match, cash rewards and trophies will be handed over to the man of the match, the best goalkeeper, the best defender, and the best players.
