Siliguri, 31st March: The personnel of Siliguri Metropolitan Police are conducting several campaigns against sex rackets under the guise of beauty parlours and massage centres in various malls of the city. Likewise, the Panitanki Outpost Police raided a beauty parlour in a shopping mall on Sevoke Road today under the same suspicion.
According to police sources, the operation was launched this evening with the help of women police personnel after receiving a tip-off regarding illegal anti-social activities taking place in some beauty parlours of the said shopping mall. However, no arrests have been made during the campaign.
