Siliguri, 06th April: During the nation-wide lockdown, the police were frequently sighted resorting to lathi-charge to disperse the violators in Siliguri.
However, the Panitanki Checkpost Police choose a different approach to the situation and distributed masks among the general public today near the Traffic point. Awareness was also created among the people regarding the COVID-19.
Besides, eatables were distributed among the poor in various areas of the city on behalf of the Siliguri Police Commisionerate.
