Siliguri, 31st March: In light of the economical impact the poor are facing due to the coronavirus lockdown, the Siliguri Police Commisionerate launched a Food Relief Cell, on Tuesday.
As per the report, organizations eager to help the needy can submit the ration in the Food Relief Cell. The collected materials will be dispatched to different police stations and check posts under the Siliguri Metropolitan Police. And will be distributed equally among the needy of the respective areas.
A helpline number 7586958429 has been launched by the Siliguri Police Commissionerate in this regard. The citizens can communicate through this number in case of emergencies.
