Siliguri, 14th March: During the monthly session of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, Mayor Goutam Deb demanded that Siliguri should be considered as one of the important cities of the country.
It has been learned that after becoming the mayor, Goutam Deb held the second monthly session on Monday. Siliguri’s 47 councilors were present in the meeting.
Addressing the media, Goutam Deb said that the state government will work for the development of Siliguri. He also demanded that Siliguri should be given importance and that the central government should immediately announce a special financial package for the city’s development.
