Siliguri, 14th September: The death of a person due to dengue has raised concerns in the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. Concerning this, Mayor Goutam Deb held a meeting with health officials on Wednesday. According to the information, the Mayor discussed and addressed important issues related to dengue with the health officials.
After the meeting, Mayor Goutam Deb said that along with the inspection of each ward, disinfecting and sanitizing have also been increased. Health workers will go door to door. Apart from this, awareness about dengue will be spread by the borough through mic announcements. The Siliguri Municipal Corporation will keep a special watch on the vacant lands. At the same time, those who have land will have to keep it clean.
