Siliguri, 03rd February: Fun Run Marathon is being organized on coming Sunday under the aegis of Siliguri Metropolitan Police and in association with a private school. Police officials have informed about this by holding a press conference today.
Reportedly, the marathon is organized keeping health and well-being of children in mind as sports program has been reduced considerably since pandemic. Students from different schools in Siliguri will participate in this marathon race. The marathon will be a run of 1.5 km, 3 km and 5 km in three divisions. The fun run marathon will commence from Uttora.
During the inauguration of the Fun Run Marathon, Siliguri Police Commissioner Akhilesh Chaturvedi, actor Darsheel Safary and other police officers will be present as the chief guest.
