Siliguri, 15th August: The 74th Independence Day of India was celebrated on behalf of the Siliguri Metropolitan Police, however, the event was a low-key affair due to the pandemic.
Reportedly, this year, no parade was organized keeping in mind the COVID outbreak. Only the national flag was hoisted.
The programme was attended by senior police officials including IPS Inspector General of Police Additional Incharge Vishal Garg.
Eight corona warriors of the Siliguri Metropolitan Police were felicitated today.
