Siliguri, 29th April: In a remarkable initiative, the Siliguri Karbala Committee provided free health check-up and vaccination to 44 pilgrims ahead of their journey to Hajj from Siliguri. Reportedly, 16 men and 28 women are heading for the pilgrimage.
On Monday, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb arrived at Karbala Maidan to greet the pilgrims. During this, the Sabhapati of Karbala Committee Mohammad Anthony and others were present.
