Siliguri, 18th June: Siliguri Organizational District BJP general secretary who is reportedly a resident of Ward no-15 tested COVID-19 positive today.
According to party sources, his swab test was taken a few days ago which came back positive today.
Meanwhile, since he attended a BJP program near Siliguri’s Safdar Hashmi Chowk (Venus More) yesterday, the administration has decided to home quarantine several BJP leaders and activists.
Besides, the swab test of his family members is likely to be taken soon.
