Siliguri, 12th August: Shila, the Royal Bengal Tiger of Siliguri Bengal Safari Park gave birth to three healthy cubs, this morning.
Reportedly, the Bengal safari authorities are taking special care of Shila along with its three cubs. Earlier, Shila gave birth to three tiger cubs, out of which one died later.
But the strong mother has done it again and everyone is hopeful that all three cubs will survive this time.
With this, the number of Royal Bengal Tigers in the park has increased to seven. The newborns will be monitored through CCTV initially. And in the next few days, a few forest workers will be allowed to go near Shila and the new cubs.
According to the forest department, the Chief Minister will be naming the new cubs soon.
