Siliguri Bengal Safari Park likely to reopen on October 02

Siliguri, 18th September: All zoos under the state forest department are likely to reopen after long 6 months. Likewise, the Siliguri Bengal Safari Park will open on October 02 following all government instructions.


However, elephant safaris will remain closed and tickets have to be booked online. Arrangements will be made for thermal checking at the park entrance. People with high body temperature will not be allowed to enter inside. Keeping all safety measures in mind, all vehicles inside the park will be disinfected following which passengers will be boarded. Besides, surveillance will be kept to ensure no more than two people are allowed to sit in two-seater vehicles.

Social distance must be maintained and wearing masks are mandatory inside the park. Only 30 percent of the people will be allowed to enter the food restaurant at a time. The food must be properly packaged and served. Besides, if any employee of the safari park experience symptoms of fever and cold, they will be forbidden to come for work.
