Shop robbed in Siliguri amid lockdown

Siliguri, 08th April: A shop in Siliguri’s Iskcon Mandir road area under Bhaktinagar police station was robbed amid the ongoing lockdown.


 

Shop owner Shyamal Sarkar stated that according to the CCTV footage, the incident took place around 3 am last night. A group of six burglars broke the shutter and entered inside the shop.


As per the report, valuables such as cosmetics, ration and 10 thousand rupees cash were stolen from the shop.

The incident was reported at the Bhaktinagar Police station, this morning. The Police reached the spot and have launched an investigation into the incident.
