Siliguri, 31st January: Another incident of theft has surfaced from Siliguri. The burglarly took place in an electrical equipment repair shop on Burdwan Road adjacent to Sheetal Para under NJP police station. Based on the complaint of the incident, the cops of NJP police station has started investigation.
Reportedly, on Tuesday morning the owner of the shop, Anoop Das, had reached to open the shop as usual. After which, he found the wooden door of his shop broken. On entering the shop, he found the shop’s goods scattered and many valuables were missing from the shop.
According to the owner of the shop, Anoop Das, about Rs 80,000 have been stolen from the shop. After the incident, he has lodged a written complaint at NJP police station. On the basis of the complaint, the police of NJP police station has started investigation. At the same time, local businesspeople are in panic due to such incidents in the area.
