Rajganj, 01st December: Only a few days back, a piece of news regarding the wall built right in front of the entrance of Magradangi Shishu Shiksha Kendra (SSK) surfaced from Rajganj. While no initiative has been taken in this regard, the SSK authorities with no other solution distributed mid-day meals in the road itself left on Tuesday.
Reportedly, the Magradangi Shishu Shiksha Kendra under Rajganj’s Panikauri Gram Panchayat was established in the year 2000. The primary educational institution was constructed on behalf of the Panchayat Samiti.
Hasi Dev, in-charge of the education centre, said that while the school remains closed due to the pandemic, the faculty is providing mid-day meals every month to the children. She alleged that the land mafias blocked the road to the Shishu Shiksha Kendra and constructed a wall. Despite reporting the matter to the BDO, no steps have been taken yet. Hence, the midday meals were provided on the nearby empty road today.
Meanwhile, the guardians worry about how their children will go to school once it reopens. They urged the administration to intervene immediately and take action.
