Siliguri, 06th June: Shankar Ghosh will return to Siliguri on Sunday for the first time after becoming a minister. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning a grand welcome at NJP Railway Station. Party workers and supporters are expected to gather in large numbers to receive him on his arrival.
After reaching NJP Station, he will be greeted by BJP leaders and supporters in a festive atmosphere. The minister is expected to travel across the city during the day, with several programmes lined up including a visit to his MLA office and a temple visit.
BJP leaders said the day will have a celebratory mood across the city as multiple programmes have been organised to mark his return as minister.
