Siliguri, 16th September: An alarming number of children from several districts of North Bengal have been admitted to Siliguri district hospital due to fever.
On Thursday, Shankar Ghosh, MLA of Siliguri, inspected the Pediatric ward of the said hospital and interacted with the mothers of the children. He also met Superintendent Pradeepta Bhattacharya and handed over an oxygen concentrator to the hospital.
Shankar Ghosh said, “I spoke to the superintendent of the district hospital and inquired about the children. I will personally talk to the district chief health officer about this issue.”
