Siliguri, 25th March: The line producer has been arrested for shooting a truck blast scene on Sevoke Coronation Bridge. Meanwhile, the OC of Sevoke outpost was also removed from duty.
It is to be noted that a web series scene was shot at Coronation Bridge on Thursday without police permission. Amid the shooting at the bridge, a truck, set on fire, exploded and sent huge clouds of black smoke billowing into the air as flames engulfed the entire vehicle. Kalimpong district police immediately jumped into action and arrested crew’s line producer Chaitali Bandyopadhyay last night. A case has been filed against her under multiple sections.
On the other hand, the OC of Sevoke outpost has been removed from duty by the Darjeeling district police. According to sources, the police officials of the Sevoke outpost were present at the spot during the shooting. The line producer will be produced at Kalimpong court on Friday.
