Several members left CPI (M) and joined Trinamool in Rajganj

Rajganj, 27th August: On Sunday, several members of the Communist Party of India (CPIM) withdrew their support and joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Rajganj. The program was organized at Gadheyagach under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block.


According to reports, around a hundred individuals left the CPIM party and joined Trinamool Congress (TMC) under the leadership of Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy. Along with the MLA, the event also witnessed the presence of Zilla Parishad Co-Mentor, Ahidar Rehman, President of TMC Rajganj Block, Arindam Banerjee, Youth President of Rajganj Block Tushar Dutta, Pradhan of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat, Samizuddin Ahmad, Gadheyagach Panchayat Member Zakir Hussain, and other members.

Speaking at the occasion, TMC President of Rajganj Block Arindam Banerjee stated that approximately 28 families of Rajganj’s Gadheyagachh booth, numbering to around 100 voters, joined the TMC party. He added that the addition further strengthened the party’s position in the block.
