Fulbari, 22nd March: Sensation prevailed in the area after a passenger bus heading from Siliguri to Cooch Behar met with an accident in Fulbari. The incident surfaced from the Fulbari’s Jiaganj area of the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway. The bus lost control and hit a container standing in front of it and injured several passengers.
On the other hand, as soon as the news of the incident was received, the Fulbari Highway Traffic Guard and NJP Police reached the spot. With the help of police and local people, the injured were rescued and sent to a private hospital in Fulbari. Police have started investigating the entire incident by taking the accident bus into their custody.
