Alipurduar, 26th August: Based on a tip-off, the Hasimara outpost police under Jaigaon police station, late Tuesday night, launched operations at the Hasimara Kalibari area National Highway 31C and arrested seven people along with fake currency.
An asymmetrical Bolero car without a number plate was detained in the incident. Upon searching the vehicle, fake currency worth 2 lakh rupees were found hidden inside the vehicle.
