Siliguri, 30th January: Saraswati Puja is being celebrated in different parts of Siliguri. The Goddess Saraswati was worshipped at the Siliguri College in a grand fashion. A large number of people gathered to worship Goddess Saraswati, on the occasion.
Various cultural programs were also organized. Goddess Saraswati was worshipped not only in schools but also in every household. Saraswati Puja was celebrated at Educational institutions and many other places.
The Puja was organized at many public places including SSB camps, BSF camps, Police Arms Force camps, and in all the Police stations including Kharibari, NJP, Bagdogra, Naxalbari, Bidhannagar, Ghoshpukur, Matigara, and Panitanki.
