Rambi, 29th September: Premises in and around the house of COVID-19 infected persons at Rambi Bazaar were sanitized to contain the spread of the fatal virus.
The campaign was launched under the leadership of Aditya Mukhiya, President of Gorkha Janamukti Yuva Morcha Booth No. 22/133 and 22/134, Secretary Kewal Thapa, Organizing Secretary of Mangpu Labda constituency Gyanam Lepcha, Bhaskar Hong Subba and others.
Gyanam Lepcha, the organizational secretary, informed that the sanitization programme was launched in view of the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Rambi. According to him, during the programme, awareness of COVID-19 safety measures was also raised among the people.
Chandan Khawas, Adarsh Thapa, Prashant Mukhiya, Sanjok Thapa, Simon Khawas, Sajan Mukhiya, Sahil Thapa, Urgen Lama, Sahil Chhetri and others of the Yuva Morcha actively took part in the awareness and sanitation programme.
