Naxalbari, 16th March: On Saturday, Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh laid the foundation stone of street lights work in three areas of Naxalbari.
According to reports, the street lights would be installed from Panighata More of Naxalbari to College More, Rathkhola, and Station More. The work is stated to be completed in a few days.
In this regard, Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh stated that the initiative was undertaken to enhance the outlook of Naxalbari. He added that street lights would be installed at a total budget of Rs 27 lakh. In addition, solar lights and high-mask lights worth Rs 35 lakh would be installed in the entire Mahakuma area.
