Siliguri, 27th February: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized under the initiative of Rotary Club Siliguri Uttarayan and with the assistance of Sahu Yuva Parishad and Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Bank.
The camp was organized at Darjeeling Cement Factory Campus in Rangapani on Sunday. The workers of the cement factory voluntarily donated blood to the camp. The camp was organized to meet the blood crisis that has occurred in various hospitals. The blood collected in the camp will be sent to Terai Lions Blood Bank and Rotary Club Blood Bank.
In this regard, the President of Rotary Club Siliguri Uttarayan Ajay Kumar Gupta said, “At present, we are trying to meet the blood crisis. Blood donation camps have been organized before too.”
