Siliguri, 03rd November: On Wednesday morning, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista went to meet former Siliguri Mayor and left leader Ashok Bhattacharya at his residence and expressed condolences for the demise of his wife. The MP was accompanied by Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh and Dabgram Fulbari MLA Shikha Chatterjee.
While addressing the media, Bista commented on several issues and alleged that TMC’s violence won the by-elections of four centers in West Bengal.
“It is never possible for a candidate to win the election with 1 lakh 80 thousand votes. This proves how the ruling party has cast its fake ballots and created an atmosphere of terror across the state. Although we have lost the by-elections, it will not be a problem for the party,” the MP added.
