Raju Bista offers prayers at Jangi Baba Mandir at Bengdubi on the New Year

Siliguri, 01st January: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista begins the new year by offering prayers at Jangi Baba Mandir at Bengdubi. In this social media post Bista wrote, “Today, I began the year by praying at Jangi Baba Mandir at Bengdubi for the well-being and safety of our soldiers and frontline COVID workers. It is their sacrifices that makes the rest of our activities possible.”


He further wrote that he prayed to God for better health, happiness and prosperity for everyone in Darjeeling hills, Terai and Dooars. And for the strength to “overthrow the corruption, tyranny and dictatorship out” from Bengal.


MP Raju Bista asserted that 2021 will see the triumph of democracy and rule of law over dictatorship and will be the year of transformation for Darjeeling hills, Terai and Dooars and rest of West Bengal. He sought blessings and support from the people in making the region better and brighter.
