Siliguri, 28th December: During the party’s ”Griha Sampark Abhiyan” (Door-to-door campaign) in the Division No. 01 of the organizational district in Siliguri today, Darjeeling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Raju Bista denied rumours of Binay Tamang joining BJP.
Bista said that has been confronting talks regarding Gorkha Janmukti Morcha leader Binay Tamang and Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly joining the BJP. However, he dismissed the reports and said that such rumours will keep popping up especially ahead of the elections. Bista asserted that only patriots and people with good character traits will join BJP.
It is to be noted, MP Raju Bista attended the Griha Sampark Abhiyan today in Ward No. 02 during which he went from door to door and heard the grievances of the people.
